All About Me

This is me, Kyle Lanich, and I play football here at Edinboro University, I am an offensive linemen. I am here on a partial scholarship for football. I was born and raised in the country, I grew up around shooting animals and riding quads and dirt bikes. I love country music, Zac Brown Band is my favorite I can listen to their music all day with no problem. I like to hunt and fish with my father, in particular my favorite is bow hunting, I've never been bow-fishing but I would like to try it. I went to school at Philipsburg-Osceola high school I played football and track there.

I am here studying secondary education in chemistry because I like science and it comes easily to me. I also want to help others better understand it. I decided to become a chemistry teacher my junior year in high-school after I excelled in my first chem class. I also like to set things on fire or blowing things up.

Personally I like technology a lot it gives us a chance to do things better and faster so we can teach and learn more. I fell like technology in learning will be easy because we have grown up around it all of our lives so we are used to . Also it will be helpful because you can do and explain things easier with technology than if you always have to go through a large text to look it up. When my chem teacher taught using the smart-board i loved it because he was able to have more fun with it and made it more fun for us. I believe that our country is based on teaching because without it we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today.

  1. As a fellow lover of science and explosions, I've got to ask, have you every witnessed a "draino boom". There's some interesting chemistry going there.

  5. My best friend is a chem major at Pitt. He really likes it and is debating whether or not he wants to teach it. That is really cool because that is not something common I see in the teaching field. I'm sure there is a huge need for science teachers. I don't think I could ever teach science haha! Hats off to you.
